For the first time in history, New York’s Medical Aid In Dying Act (A136) has passed the Assembly and has moved to the Senate. After more than a decade of being introduced in the legislature, this is the furthest the bill has ever advanced.
To rally support for this New York moment, we sat down with several New York state legislators leading the fight to pass the bill, honoring their decision in a recent video. Every legislator in this video supports terminally ill New Yorkers seeking control at the end of life.
