Tell Virginia legislators we are outraged!

After a historic push through Virginia’s Senate, the House of Delegates Courts of Justice Committee has decided to table this year’s Death with Dignity bill, SB280, until 2025 through an unrecorded voice vote. This update comes after the bill was passed through the state’s Senate for the first time, ever thanks to the work of our chief sponsor, Sen. Ghazala Hashmi, and the advocacy of Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton.

Take two minutes to share your disappointment with your local legislators that despite historic progress, the autonomy of terminally ill Virginians could not be honored by passing SB280 through the House of Delegates!
