Thank the Legislators who Voted YES on HB140!

In Delaware, the Senate voted to pass the Ron Silverio/Heather Block End of Life Options Act (HB140) with an 11-8 in favor vote!

After passing the Delaware House one month ago, the bill now goes to Delaware Governor Matt Meyer for his signature. Governor Meyer said he will sign the bill, saying “everyone deserves the right to a compassionate and humane end to life’s journey when faced with a terminal illness.”

When signed, Delaware will join 11 states and Washington, DC, where terminally ill competent patients will have the right to Death with Dignity.

18 legislators chose dignity, freedom, and the protection of dying patients, and we are eternally grateful for their courage and for being on the right side of history.

Take a minute to write a simple thank you to the legislators who voted yes to HB140. Your voice continues to make a difference!
