After two public hearings in the House of Delegates and Senate, the Maryland End-of-Life Option Act (The Honorable Elijah E. Cummings and the Honorable Shane E. Pendergrass Act) has officially failed in the Senate by a reported two to three votes.

Take two minutes to share your disappointment with your local legislators that despite historic progress, the autonomy of terminally ill Marylanders could not be honored by passing the Maryland End-of-Life Option Act through the General Assembly!
